Three is the magic number for badminton

Badminton has had a great start to their season. Yesterday the team traveled to Baldwin Park to face Sierra Vista High School, a league rival. The Dons are traditionally a tough team to beat, especially on their home court. The Panthers showed up ready to play, fighting their way to a win. It came down to the last tie of the day, when the Panthers came back from one set behind to win the game by three points. This victory over Sierra Vista gives Poly an undefeated 3-0 league record. Today, the Panthers head to Azusa High School for a 3:30 p.m. match. They finish out their three-match week facing Bassett High School at home on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the Boys' Gym.
