Swimming and diving hit the pool for their first meet of the season

Poly’s boys and girls swimming and diving teams break the water for this spring season in their opening meet at Webb Schools this afternoon. The boys team returns three seniors and welcomes four new freshmen to the team. The girls team will rely on the experience of their eight seniors, including two senior divers, Krystal Irwin and Daria Lenz. The girls also added five freshmen to their squad of 25. The team has a busy week, traveling today to Claremont for the Webb meet, taking on Harvard Westlake on Friday in the Justin Carr Friday Night Lights Classic, and hosting a tri-meet versus Viewpoint School, St. Francis High School, and Marlborough School on Saturday, March 10.
