Panthers football on the road to face the Roadrunners

Last Saturday, the Panthers hosted the Stars from Mary Star of the Sea from San Pedro. Poly’s defense, led by coach Antonio Harrison, played a perfect game, halting Mary Star’s offense by not allowing a single first down. With the defense holding down any advances, the offense quickly got the ball back and took care of business with ease, scoring 28 points in only the first quarter. At the end of four quarters, the Panthers had shut out the Stars 60-0, finishing week four with a record of 2-1-1.

This week, the Panthers head to Rosamond High School to face the Roadrunners. Coming off a bye week, the Roadrunners go into week five with a 3-0 record defeating Vasquez High School from Acton 44-0. They go head to head Friday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. For directions and details, visit the Athletic Calendar.
