Girls Varsity basketball with big league comeback

Yesterday the girls Varsity basketball team made for an exciting Winter Tailgate. They hosted Prep League rivals Dolphins from Chadwick. The Panthers had a rough start and trailed the Dolphins by 12 points by the end of the first half. They returned from halftime with a new game face and chipped away at the lead. Poly came away with a four-point victory over Chadwick 35-31. This is great momentum as they face another league opponent, the Tigers from Westridge, today at 4 p.m. This is also the team’s senior game, during which they will honor their two seniors, Sarah Johnson and Ali Ulin.
