The Mystic Niblik stays at Poly

Yesterday, the Poly boys golf team played in the annual match versus Flintridge Prep at Altadena Golf Course. The winner of this match takes home the Mystic Niblik trophy. The trophy was built 31 years ago by a Prep golf coach, Bob Laugherie, and his father. The Panthers have won this trophy for seven consecutive years. Poly’s success was led by senior Nick Foker, who scored a 37, followed by junior Charlie Foy, who finished scoring a 38. This year’s win has also advanced Poly 16-15, breaking the tie in the overall record for this trophy.
