Panthers swimming took on the Trailblazers

Last week, the swimming and diving team hosted the Trailblazers from Sierra Canyon High School from Chatsworth. The Trailblazers are coached by Olympic swimmer Matt Biondi. Biondi competed in the 1984, 1988, and 1992 Olympic games, and his son now swims at Sierra Canyon. The Trailblazers have good swimmers, but their numbers are small. There were some exciting races and very competitive relays. The boys showed strength in their relays and were led by senior Dean Johnson. The Panthers beat the Trailblazers soundly 111-45 for the girls and 106-57 for the boys. This gears them up as they travel to face the Gauls from Webb School today at 3:45 p.m
