Hearing. If you abuse it, you will lose it. Join the Upper School Performing Arts Department in welcoming acclaimed speaker, distinguished conductor, and lifelong educator Larry Livingston for a musician's exploration of the world of audiology. Livingston will provide an entertaining and informative look at the nature of sound as he shares the latest developments in the study of hearing. It's not about what we hear; it's about how we hear - come listen before it's too late!

Larry Livingston is the former Dean of the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California and the current chair of the school's conducting department. Before coming to USC, he served as Vice President and Music Director of the New England Conservatory of Music and Dean of the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.
