Badminton Advances to Individual Tournament

Poly’s badminton team had a strong finish to their season with their final team event: the Montview League Finals. Although Poly placed fifth in league, missing the CIF Badminton Team tournament by a couple of spots, they still had some notable finishes. Mixed doubles pair Reese Y. ’23 and Evan C. ’26, as well as Ziko E. ’26 and Jamie H. ’26, both made it to the quarterfinal round. Girls doubles pairing of Alice W. ’23 and Jamie H. ’26 won gold in their event. This qualifies them to compete in the CIF Badminton Individuals Tournament. The tournament is from May 16-18 at Arcadia High School. Wish these atheletes luck as they continue in their season!
