Junior Orchestra Hitting All the Right Notes

Oh, the music they are making! Junior Orchestra’s rehearsals have been great. Students are practicing well and soaking up their music like sponges. Not only did they play through their old repertoire, but they also sight read three new pieces for consideration for our Winter Sing performance.

Most fun of all, the group went on the “road” and traveled down to the South Campus (interrupted by an impromptu performance of Pink Tango at the Cornell crosswalk) to play together with Dr. Megan Foley who is the Middle School and Upper School instrumental music teacher. Together with her on the drum set, they played their First Finger Rock.

Here’s the recording of what they put together. Join us for the Winter Sing tonight to see what they perform!
