PolyToday: Cómo se dice?

Lower School is pupil-free today due to parent-teacher conferences. Here's what Mr. Martin's third grade students looked like in Spanish class with Sra. Covarrubias yesterday. Students copied short sentences from the board and then read them out loud. The last few minutes of class were spent watching an animated video, with students reading the Spanish subtitles along with the characters in the video. Lower School students begin studying Spanish in second grade and have the ability to continue their Spanish studies until they graduate from Upper School. Middle School brings an opportunity to switch to French, Latin, or Mandarin, and some students even study multiple languages in the Upper School.
