International Day of Women Celebration: Supporting Women in Global Leadership

Please join the UNA-Pasadena and Polytechnic School Chapters for a special virtual event commemorating International Women's Day on March 1. This year, young leaders in the UNA-Pasadena chapter will lead a panel discussion on supporting women in global leadership careers featuring representatives from the AWIU (the American Women for International Understanding.) Participants in this discussion include Ambassador Eunice Reddick, American diplomat and former ambassador to Niger, Gabon and São Tomé and Príncipe, and KhinSandi Lwin, UNICEF Representative with a 35-year career working in ten countries. Attendees will gain unique insights into the fields of international relations and AWIU's work in mentoring young women from diverse backgrounds who are interested in careers in foreign affairs and international development.
