PolyToday: Where there’s a will, there’s a way

Last week, Poly Upper School students prepared a meal for Union Station, the San Gabriel Valley's largest social services agency assisting homeless men, women, and children. Once a month Upper School students volunteer to prepare, cook, and serve a meal to the individuals at Union Station's Adult Center. In previous years the meals were prepared at the Union Station facility but this year the students are using the kitchen in the Garland Theater lobby instead. After what must be a long day of school, athletics, and food prep, students drop the food off at Union Station on their way home.
