Pilot Week Succes

Poly Athletics has concluded its week of team-conditioning and skill-development pilot program. This was an optional week that provided student-athletes the opportunity to connect with each other, their coaches, as well as welcome any new members to the Poly community. Despite the heat and humidity, the student-athletes enjoyed the experience. Many of the students, although sore, walked away appreciating the opportunity to workout, improving their mental and physical health.

The pilot week of conditioning and training was taken on by the entire school. Thanks to numerous individuals, the execution was successful. Athletics was able to complete this week while maintaining the safety and health of our student-athletes. The protocols put forth by the county of wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and outdoor training only opened the door for possible future training opportunities.

Beginning Aug. 31, Athletics is offering all Upper School students a live P.E. Zoom class led by performance coach Sheldon Williams on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:45 - 5:30 p.m. If you are interested in participating, please fill out this Google Form.
