PolyToday: Poly's own Rose Parade

Let's face it. Poly is a school with rich traditions and storied history — and plenty of it since 1907. But in the spirit of continually exploring and refining our practices, we have begun a new tradition. The kindergarten class planned and presented the third annual Rose Parade the Friday before winter break. The Class of 2032 collaborated in small teams (Operations, Equestrian, Band, Floats, etc.) and prepared the event for weeks prior to the parade with help from volunteer parents. Members of the actual Tournament of Roses came to inspire and educate during the process. A special treat this year was having Laura Farber, president of the 2019-20 Tournament of Roses and parent of two Poly alumni, in attendance to kick off the event.
