PolyToday: 'The Last Days of Judas Iscariot'

Congratulations to the Upper School Performing Arts Department for the fall play, "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" by Stephen Adly Guirgis. The production closed last weekend. This play is a contemporary, often funny, wildly imaginative take on a story that has captivated many for hundreds of years. It is set in contemporary Purgatory and is essentially a courtroom drama exploring the alleged betrayal of Jesus by Judas. The play offers a great deal to think about, especially in terms of our understanding of heaven and hell, and how our inner life has as much bearing on where we go when we die than our outward deeds.
