PolyToday: If you give a Panther a cookie

Laura Numeroff, author of the ever-popular "If You" series, visited Poly yesterday. Students in grades K-4 sat in rapt attention as she showed pictures of her life and highlighted meaningful books and experiences. She encouraged the students to never give up, citing the fact that "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" was rejected by nine publishers before finally finding success.
