PolyToday: Rosin up your bow

Third-graders have spent the last several weeks learning about their violins and cellos: identifying parts of their instruments, as well as practicing proper posture and bow holds, discovering what a "down" bow is, as well as learning other terminology unique to the musical world. Last week, for the first time, the students put their bows on the strings and made their first sounds on their instruments. The students were both stunned and delighted!
