PolyToday: Visiting authors

Lower and Middle School students were treated to visits from guest authors today. Jennifer L. Holm spoke to grades 3-8, and Barney Saltzberg presented to grades K-2. The authors had different presentations but touched on similar inspirational themes. Students were encouraged to make mistakes, and both authors discussed their creative processes.
Lower School free dress theme today also celebrated books, with many students dressing up as their favorite literary characters. It's not often you have Cat in the Hat sitting next to Harry Potter.
