Sixteen Students from the Poly Research Initiative Publish in Genomics Insights

Sixteen students from this year’s Biological Research class, one of four spaces of the Poly Research Initiative, published a review article in Genomics Insights, the National Human Genome Research Institute’s digital publication. As part of this process, over several months, self-selected student teams chose an area of interdisciplinary interest related to genomics and society, formulated a specific research question, analyzed it critically using data from primary research literature, and wrote about it, including incorporating professional reviewer feedback.
