Math Summer Review is a course that will follow the instructional pathways of learning, consolidating, and applying math concepts and skills. This summer math review experience will integrate problem-solving and critical thinking while focusing on developing the automaticity of basic math facts. It is designed to provide individualized practice, provide immediate feedback about progress, and set new goals for students as they master the math concepts and facts. The lessons will include visual lessons, math practice, activities, games, and journaling. The goal of each lesson is to develop a deeper understanding of the math concepts taught, build confidence in math skills, and make real-life connections. This course is suitable for students entering fifth grade.
