This class provides students with hands-on opportunities to engage in different types of experiments that span the physical, chemical, and life sciences as well as engineering. Active participation will enhance their acquisition of knowledge of basic scientific concepts. To create an enriching experience exploring the various branches of science, classes will include investigating magnetism, engineering ice cream, and learning about slime, to name a few. In addition to experiments, students will also learn to reflect on their science experiences through daily journal entries chronicling their Science investigations. Note: The first and second sessions will be identical in the material they cover.
