Poly Pet and Hobby Show

From the Poly 100 book, celebrating the first 100 years: "In the spring of 1917, the story goes, Poly's Troop 5 Boy Scouts asked their principal, Miss Henley, if they could bring their pets to school She said "yes" and the Poly Pet Show was born."
95 years later, the Poly Pet and Hobby Show has evolved, while remaining true to its heritage. It remains a multigenerational, all-school event, with Middle and Upper School students helping run booths and enjoying the day's festivities along with the Lower School students. Recent additions to the fair have included a science fair and engineering contest. This year, students built boats using provided materials and strict guidelines. Again from Poly 100, "Despite the changes with the times, hundreds of people, pets and exhibits still coalesce every year on that special Friday to enthusiastically celebrate being together and being at Poly."
