Mark Pfau Named Girls’ Tennis Program Head

Mark Pfau has been named the Girls’ Tennis Program Head at Polytechnic School.

Pfau is the successful owner of All Sports Coaching, a private coaching business in Los Angeles that specializes in sport-specific strength, agility, and conditioning for students and adults. Besides his involvement with All Sports Coaching, Pfau has extensive experience coaching at numerous local high schools, including Marymount, Providence, Notre Dame (S.O), and Harvard-Westlake.

“We are excited to welcome Mark as our new Girls’ Tennis Program Head,” said Scott Bello, Director of Athletics. “Mark is well known for his infectious enthusiasm, intimate knowledge of tennis, and student-centric approach to coaching. We are delighted to add Mark to our team.”

"I am thrilled for the opportunity to coach at Polytechnic School,” said Pfau. “Coaching is my passion and my life’s work. Tennis is an amazing sport. It is a repetition sport. It is the thing I love the most about it. There is absolutely no substitute for putting in the repetition."

Pfau began his work as the Girls’ Tennis Program Head on July 5.
