Discover the magic in Newberry Award Winning Hello, Universe by Erin Entrada Kelly. In this class, the reading will be done together and independently as we learn to have rich discussions about a book. We will research a bit about the Filipino culture and language to deepen our understanding of the story, and use a character map to record how the main character develops throughout the story. Students will also complete jobs such as Creative Connector, Discussion Director, Amazing Artist, and Super Summarizer to help bring this wonderful book to life.
