Poly keeps the Mystic Niblik another year

Yesterday the boys golf team teed off against Flintridge Prep at the Alhambra Golf Course in the final match of the annual Mystic Niblik match. The Mystic Niblik is a trophy that was created 32 years ago by Bob Laugherie, a Prep golf coach. Every year Poly and Prep face off to see who gets to take home the trophy. The first time the two teams met this season, it was a close win by Poly 210-221. This second match-up was a tough one and an even closer game. However, the Panthers shot well and pulled through, beating the Rebels 222-225 and taking home the trophy for the eighth consecutive year. This puts Poly ahead 17-15 in the overall record of this match.
