World Religions Class Learns About Hindu Holidays

Students in Katie Schuhl's World Religions classes recently completed a project in which they learned about one of six Hindu holidays: Krishna Janmashtami, Dussehra, Diwali, Kartik Purnima, Holi, or Hanuman Jayanti. The students gave presentations to each other, using their posters and short videos as visual aids. Given that  Rishi Sunak was sworn in on the Bhagavadgita as the first Indian Prime Minister of Britain on Diwali (Oct. 24th), this project was particularly relevant and timely!
