PolyToday: Outdoor Ed Offer Solitude for Students

Grades 9 through 11 have returned from Outdoor Ed with memories to last a lifetime. Though natural disasters threatened to affect trips throughout the mountains, Director of Outdoor Ed Laura Marion quickly pivoted trips to unaffected locales and offered alternative adventures. Said one student, “I look fondly on the times in which we were able to self-reflect in a quiet and solitary space.” Though students are back in the swing of classes, no doubt they are still lingering in the self-reflection they experienced on trips.
