PolyToday: Variables Take Flight

If you remember your science classes, a variable is something that can be changed, measured, or controlled in an experiment. Eighth-graders in Mrs. Mander's class put their hypothesis to a test. One investigation asked, “Would a paper airplane with paper clips (the variable) fly farther than one without (the control)?” Ask an eighth-grader if you're curious about the outcome of the trial.
