PolyToday: Eighth grade performance

Eighth-graders performed last week as their culminating activity for the Musical Theatre and Tech Theatre classes.
In Musical Theatre, the semester was spent doing a survey of different musical theatre styles, working on production numbers as an ensemble and working independently on solos, duets, and small group numbers. The performances showcase a variety of styles: traditional musical theatre, rock, contemporary, uptempo, ballad, comedy/charm pieces, and musical theatre dance.
Students in Tech Theatre provide support in terms of set pieces, properties, lights, and sound.
