Girls tennis plays in league opener

The Varsity girls tennis team begins league competition today by hosting Chadwick School. The team has had three matches in preparation for this match. In their first three matches, they had dominating wins over Mark Keppel and Temple City High School. They dropped their second match against South Pasadena on points after a 9-9 tie in games. This team returns to the court with the leadership of their two seniors and a handful of veterans, and they welcomed a new freshman to their squad. They take on the Dolphins at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon at Caltech.
