Lisa Wu joins Poly community as new director of admission and enrollment

Poly is pleased to welcome Lisa Wu, former director of enrollment at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco, as the school's new director of admission and enrollment. Since joining LWHS in 2001, she served in various roles in the Admissions Department, most recently as the director since 2007. Wu also has been a school counselor, coached boys and girls Varsity tennis, chaired inclusivity and equity committees, and co-taught a philanthropy initiative course. Prior to her work in education, she had a career in advertising and publishing in New York City.

Wu is a first-generation college student in her family, having earned a bachelor's degree in American history with a minor in East Asian studies from Columbia University and a master's degree in school counseling from St. Mary's College. Her husband, Alex, also is an independent school educator. They have two daughters, Ella and Simone, who will be attending Poly in the fall. When she's not working, she can be found playing tennis, cheering on her daughters at soccer games, rooting for the Golden State Warriors, and finding the best dim sum restaurant in town.
