Can you keep a secret? The annual Witches' Brew, the first-grade Halloween-themed extravaganza, went off without a hitch on Wednesday. It's also the best-kept secret of the Lower School, so please don't tell the Class of 2038! Just imagine the delight of the first-graders as they unexpectedly happen upon their parents dressed up as witches and warlocks. The tradition of the Witches' Brew dates back to a parent-hosted lunch in the 1980s. The current celebration includes lunch, bobbing for donuts, mummy wrapping, fortune telling, a sack race, crafts, and many other expressions of the parent organizers' creativity.
