The Middle School Ping Pong Tournament began back in October and unfolded at its own pace. From the start, it was open to all players, regardless of experience or skill level. That openness mattered to co-presidents Jacob P. ’30 and Emma M.-B. ’30, who were intent on making sure every student who signed up had a chance to play. When players were absent, matches paused, and the tournament waited. The final game delivered. The match between Ryan T. ’30 and Sean K. ’30 was fast and focused. One longtime observer said it was the best final they had ever seen.
