Hands up if you’ve never made a mistake! (Anyone?) The Lower School recently celebrated a “Fail-a-bration,” inspired by the book by Brad and Kristie Montague. Students reflected on their own missteps, exploring questions like: How do you feel when you make a mistake? What’s something that’s hard for you? How do you move on? Have you ever helped someone else recover from a mistake, or been helped yourself? The goal: to reframe failure as part of learning, not the end of it, to help students see mistakes not as setbacks, but as steps toward growth and perseverance.
