PolyToday: Fifth Grade Drama(s)

Order in the court! The Class of 2033 recently took the stand in not one, but two delightfully theatrical courtroom dramas, both packed with beloved storybook characters and plenty of plot twists. In Storybook Court: Full of Beans, performed by Mrs. Breen’s class, Jack (of Jack and the Beanstalk fame) finds himself on trial. Last week, Mrs. Diamond’s class presented Itsy Bitsy: Trial of an Eight-Legged Washout, where Itsy Bitsy (the spider whose song embodies a resilient spirit) faces charges for (spoiler alert!) crimes inadvertently committed by the Dish and Spoon during their great escape.
Lower School students, friends, and family were a delighted audience, cheering on our fifth-grade performers as they brought these clever cases to life under the expert direction of Mr. Frome, K-12 Chair, Poly Performing Arts.
