Head of School John Bracker Announces Plans to Retire in 2028

On October 12, Head of School John Bracker announced his plans to retire at the conclusion of the 2027–2028 school year in a joint letter to the Poly community with Board Chair Alec Hudnut. The early announcement allows ample time for a thoughtful search and leadership transition, while John remains focused on leading Poly and advancing the school's priorities.
