PolyToday: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Upper School Performing Arts students recently completed a short run of the winter production, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a musical comedy with music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin, and additional material by Jay Reiss. The production, set in the delightfully offbeat world of Putnam Valley Middle School, blended quick humor with audience participation, inviting a few brave guests to step into the spotlight. The dress rehearsal featured appearances by Charlie B. ’29, and Poly faculty and staff members Renée Larios, and Jennifer Cardillo.
