Sock puppets as Greek Gods?

After reading Greek myths, Middle School students in Renee Larios' English class are currently creating sock puppet characters and writing Greek myth plays for their stars, the sock puppets. The puppets represent Greek mythological characters (mostly gods, goddesses, heroes and other key mortals from these ancient stories. Each student group writes and presents one Greek myth sock puppet show (performances December 16 and 19 in class). Parents of students are welcome.
