Thank You From the Panther Club

Dear Poly community,

Thank you for coming out and celebrating Bids on Babcock! From volunteering and sponsoring to donating and simply showing up to celebrate our school, we loved seeing so many of you from all three divisions: Lower, Middle, and Upper School. We hope you also got to witness the incredible energy at Fall Pack the Haus, where our students cheered, chanted, and brought ALL the school spirit to cheer on every team. Many of our Lower School families also laced up their sneakers and joined the Family Walk & Run at Caltech. A special thank you to the parents and students who showed up Saturday evening for the Pickleball Tournament and helped us wrap up the weekend on a high note. So much Panther pride packed into one weekend! You can check out some of the Poly Spirit Weekend photos here.

With the funds raised through Bids on Babcock, it’s now our turn to give back! We’re excited to introduce the Panther Club Clinic Series, a new initiative offering free and low-cost sports clinics for Poly students. Our goal is simple: to give students opportunities to explore new sports, develop skills, build confidence, and connect with classmates in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. We’re kicking things off with our first-ever basketball clinic for students in grades three through five, led by Jeremy Major of Major Hoops. A Pasadena local and former professional player, Coach Major is the most accomplished point guard in Pepperdine basketball history. He’s bringing his expertise to Poly for an afternoon of skill development, learning, and fun!

A heartfelt thank you to all the Panther Club members who worked tirelessly to make the community events possible, and to the Admission, Advancement, Athletics, and Communications departments for all their support.

Please save the date for our next Winter Pack the Haus on Friday, January 22. Join us to help plan future Panther Club events.

Go Poly!

Full of gratitude,

Jeanette Zamora and Joe Shuster
