PolyToday: The Great Debate

In Avi McClelland-Cohen’s AP U.S. History class, juniors recently took the floor to argue what the most important factor was in shaping the thirteen British colonies. Was it religion, economics, European influence, or geography? Each team made its case in a spirited debate that brought history to life. After careful deliberation, the judges crowned European influence as the day’s winner.
