Panther Pods Kick Off 2023-2024 School Year
Lower School Panther Pods are an extension of the Lower School’s longstanding cross-grade buddy tradition and were developed to strengthen the sense of community in the Lower School by allowing students, faculty, and staff to interact with each other in meaningful ways outside of the classroom. Panther Pods comprise one to two students from each grade level and one to two faculty or staff members. Each student will remain in the same Pod for their Lower School experience.
We kicked off the year on Thursday, October 19. Each Pod worked together to create a name and decorated a panther paw to describe their group. We also discussed the importance of teamwork and played cooperative games encouraging communication and working together while providing built-in opportunities for resilience. We look forward to a wonderful year of Panther Pods!
