Voces Book Club: Gabriela García’s "Of Women and Salt"

Please mark your calendars for the next Voces Book Club on Thursday, September 23, 7:00-8:30 p.m., LIVE AND IN PERSON. Come join others in the Poly community (adults only, please) for an engaging evening of good camaraderie and good reads. We will be discussing Gabriela García’s Of Women and Salt.

Raised in Miami by Cuban and Mexican immigrant parents and a self-described “long-time feminist and migrant justice organizer,” García enjoyed the reception of her debut novel as “a most-anticipated book according to The New York Times, Time, Entertainment Weekly, Elle, Oprah Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Washington Post, BuzzFeed, Goodreads, Refinery 29, Bustle and more.”
