This course is designed for young scientists to explore the silly and smelly side of science. Each lesson is fun and interactive with hands-on experiments that dive into the reasons why things occur in the body. The focus of this course will be lessons on why certain “daily functions” occur or happen. This course will also encourage social interactions and humor all while engaging in scientific reasoning. From growing a germ garden, to exploring how germs travel, or observing the chemical reactions of different substances each student will enjoy the stinky, crusty, and sometimes slimy side of science. Please keep in mind that a variety of foods will be used in conducting these experiments.
