    Heinz Ethics Speaker Series Event: "The Ethics of Remembering" w/ Kevin Waite

    Kevin Waite '05 is the Anne Stark Watson and Chester Watson Distinguished Professor of History at UT Dallas and an elected Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. A leading historian of the American West, he is the author of West of Slavery and The Boundless Biddy Mason (University of California Press). Beyond academia, his research supported the campaign to rename Los Angeles's Pershing Square in honor of Biddy Mason. He consults for the National Park Service, contributes to publications such as The Atlantic and The Washington Post , and writes and produces documentaries for BBC Select and National Geographic, including an upcoming project on Southern California's Underground Railroad. https://app.espace.cool/Public/Event/11327/5207041/8329395/95596664
