Ms. Mander’s eighth graders continued building their lab skills with an introduction to cell theory. Students examined cells up close by taking a journey through what each scientist contributed to the theory. They viewed cork cells as Robert Hooke might have during his time, explored tiny protists in pond water, and examined various plant and animal cells under the microscope—putting theory into focus, one cell at a time!
