Song co-written by Madison Scheckel '10 airs on Disney’s Phineas and Ferb
Alumna Madison Scheckel '10 is experiencing great success in her young songwriting career. After graduating from Poly, Madison matriculated to USC and was one of eight singer/songwriters to join their prestigious Popular Music Program. She has collaborated on numerous projects, earning composer and artist credits on O Baby Mine: Sing a Song of Shakespeare, an album of children’s songs and lullabies inspired by Shakespeare’s plays, and Television is My Friend, the EP album from the Maddie Ross band for which Madison is the musical director.
Recently, Madison teamed up with Disney’s award-winning creators Dan Povenmire, Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, and Martin Olson on a song for their hit television animated series Phineas and Ferb. The song, “What Might’ve Been,” is featured in a new episode released February 9, 2015, and is also available on iTunes.
