From reading to research

Even in the information age, Poly will always remain a school devoted to reading. We seek to foster a love of words, stories, and ideas from the very beginning. We also build students’ ability and confidence with basic research concepts beginning in kindergarten and continuing through fifth grade. In Middle School, we prepare students to take on larger research projects and more creative ways of presenting their ideas.

In all these pursuits, the Lower and Middle School Library is a vital tool. It houses dedicated teaching space for Lower School weekly library classes on the first floor, with research areas for Middle School students on the second floor, alongside a fully-equipped media center and an open-air deck overlooking the San Gabriel Mountains.
