Girls golf opens with back-to-back wins

Poly's girls golf team returned to the course this week, playing back-to-back matches against La Salle High School on Tuesday and faced Westridge in their first league match on Wednesday. The girls are returning after a very successful season last year. Having graduated two key seniors, the team had large shoes to fill. This week, they started strong beating both opponents soundly with scores of 268-311 versus La Salle and 262-318 versus Westridge. Returning senior Lauren Park led the way having the lowest score in both matches. Park and the five returning players are taking the momentum from last season into this season and carry along with them strong first-year players Madeleine Kwei ’21 and Chloe Cho ‘19.
