Alumni Association celebrates volunteers and board members
Last Wednesday, almost 40 Alumni Board members and volunteers gathered in Erdman Courtyard on the South Campus to be honored at the Alumni Association’s Annual Appreciation Dinner. Former Alumni Board President Warren Techentin ’86 kicked off the event with an introduction of Head of School John Bracker, who thanked everyone in attendance for their dedication to the Poly community.
Bracker discussed the importance of alumni returning to campus and serving as role models to Poly students today, an act fulfilled by each of our alumni volunteers. After dinner, Techentin announced the new board members, Robynn Brathwaite '94, John Coogan '07, Caitlin Latta '07, Amit Sura '00, student representative, Lucas '19, and new Alumni Board President Lori MacPherson ’85. In closing, MacPherson honored departing board members for their years of services: Larry Perkins ’95, Laura Waluch Solomon ’01, John Suh ’88, Brian Venerable ’83, Justine Wolcott ’83.
