Girls swimming are runners up in CIF

CIF-SS Division 3 swimming finals were held yesterday at the Riverside Aquatics Complex. The Poly girls team went into the finals down 91 points second to Walnut High School after prelims on Wednesday. Competition was tough all afternoon. The team swam strong, slowly chipping away at the lead. However, at the end of the evening, Poly came up nine points short of the championship title. Walnut High School went into CIF competition highly favored, but Poly did well to stay on their heels and make them nervous with every race. Congratulations on a great season!
